My childhood neighborhood was priceless. My house sat at the bottom of a hill in a large spaced out neighborhood. We had lived on a river although it took awhile to get to the bottom it was worth it once you got down there. I also had a corner store at the end of my street by the trailer park. My friend Andrew and I would always bike there. I remember having to beg my mom for money or just search inside the change jar. I also played road hockey with my friends Carl, Andrew, Ziggy and Brogan. My house was really big and open. I had four floors and half an achor of land in my back yard. My friend Andrew and I always met down in the tall grass around where the river was. We also started making a fort made out of trees at our bus stop everyday before school and everyday after school. My favorite years in Prince George were about grade three to six. My dog loved it there to. He was always doing something active. I always raced him with my bike to the end of our street and back, if he won he would get a treat which he always loved.
I always biked to school in the Summer with my friends. I always will remember those days. It was warm and sunny out, and after school I would go floating in the river or play video games with Andrew. Brogan was also one of my best friends, I had always went to his house weather it was to go to hockey or sleepover for the weekend. I hung out with alot of people outside my neighborhood to. But i really enjoyed playing road hockey outside with all my friends when it was warm out. Hide and seek outside and inside were always a fun thin to do. With such a large yard like I had. We always picked to play hide and seek go tag. I had made a mini stick arena downstairs in my basement. We called it Prospel center. Halloween was always a good time, I would sleep over with my friends on Halloween night. After we trick or treated we played video games and mini stick all night.
I remember going to my dads store that he owned at least once a week to visit and sit in the family room. I liked to play hide and seek with all my friends there to. Downtown Prince George was also exciting when there was a circus or a parade on the streets. There was many hockey rinks to play on in PG. I moved from Prince George when i was twelve years old. It is fairly sad when I come back to see my house. But change is always good...
